Lakeside is a beautiful 200-year-old detached cottage, full of character with
exposed beams and stone walls.

It has a large south-facing terrace, ideal for enjoying barbeques or for simply relaxing in the sunshine.  
A barbeque and a selection of garden furniture is provided.

The enclosed garden is a good size and is mainly laid to lawn with a few borders and rockeries.  
There is a well-equipped kitchen with a cosy sitting area and large wood-burning fireplace.  The kitchen has all mod-cons, including a dishwasher, microwave, electric
oven and gas hob.  A radio/CD player is also provided.  There is a separate utility area with a washing machine, spin dryer, iron and ironing board.

Also on the ground floor is a comfortable sitting room, with a log burner and an adjoining dining area.  The sitting room provides many other items to help you relax
during your holiday, including a 37" LCD satellite TV, Playstation2/DVD player and a selection of DVDs, books and games.  
 
The sleeping accommodation at the cottage is very flexible with double beds in bedrooms one and two.  Bedroom three, in the converted loft, is ideal for children and
has two single beds and three additional single mattresses if required.  A travel cot is also available, although we are unable to provide linen for the cot. The living
room also has a double sofa-bed.

The pretty family bathroom is located on the first floor and has a corner bath (with shower attachment on taps), double basin and WC.  There is also a separate
shower room with WC and basin on the ground floor.  Bedroom two also has its own washbasin.  
  • The cottage has central heating and open fireplaces (for winter use only).  Additional electric heaters are provided. Wood and electricity used are charged at cost.
  • We can provide a bed linen service for your stay.  Should you wish to take advantage of this, there will be a small charge per bed.  Towels are not provided.    
  • The cottage has a gated driveway for parking and there are additional spaces next to the cottage.
  • The cottage provides an ideal setting for quiet romantic breaks or fun family holidays, due to the many attractions in the area.  
  • Longer lets may be possible by arrangement.
  • Sleeps 2-6 as described above.  
  • Well-behaved dogs may be allowed by prior arrangement.  We kindly ask that dogs are not left alone in the cottage.
